What Color Body Type are You?
Red Type (Pitta):
- intense personality
- focused, decisive, organized
- great mental & physical stamina, speech is clear and direct
- medium body build, well proportioned
- sensitive skin, freckles, gets rashes
- blonde or reddish hair color
- can be argumentative. confrontational, impatient, domineering
- heartburn, digestive upsets, liver, gallbladder problems, needs to eat at regular times
- prone to cardiovascular problems, inflammation, ulcers, colitis
Yellow Type (Vata):
- changeable personality, loves change, doesn’t follow schedule or rules well
- difficulty concentrating, low physical stamina
- visionary, imaginative, creative, learns quickly but forgets, rapid speech, irregular pattern
- lean body type, may have difficulty gaining weight, large hands & joints, irregular features with deviated septum
- dry skin, dry cuticles that crack and dry brittle nails, dark hair color, cold hands and feet
- can be anxious, fearful, scattered, forget to eat, variable appetite

- Stable and reliable, doesn’t change easily, cautious
- great strength, stamina
- good at detail work, studies everything carefully, reliable, inspire confidence in others, long-term friendships, speaks slowly & carefully
- large frame, well-proportioned, deep-set joints
- moist skin, big, beautiful eyes, long eyelashes, thick hair with blonde highlights
- overweight, overeats, may avoid exercise, poor sense of taste & smell, weight gain = pear shape
- digestive & insulin resistance problems, belching, burping after eating
- fluid retention, sinus congestion, runny nose, excess phlegm, bad breath, gum disease, asthma, bronchitis
